DBS operates three Children's hotlines in East Delhi as a part of the Childline network of 415 centers across India open 24/7. Collectively, DBS's hotlines take hundreds of calls over the course of the year to do with cases of abuse, neglect, kidnapping, lost children, illegal child labor, and even trafficking. Hundreds of children's lives have been affected by the Hotline and its collaboration with local authorities, whether by being reunited with their family, rescued from abuse, or freed from bonded labor. Many of the stories coming from the hotline are extreme to those unfamiliar with the social realities of many children in India, but through the tireless labor of DBS's employees, much help is able to be offered.
