WORK AMONG PRISONERS
For some years now DBS has been given the responsibility to provide meals to the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) Transit Home, operated in the premises beside the Brotherhood house. This home is for those foreign nationals who have completed their sentences for their offences in prison, and are now waiting for someone to help them financially to get a ticket back home. The meal is nutritious and is supplied three times daily to the inmates. As usual DBS provided meals for 20 to 30 inmates daily through the year on all the days of the week.
For more recent news on DBS's work among prisoners, see the annual reports.
